I remember when I first started to get into programming, I always saw C as being extremely difficult and no more useful than other languages that I could learn. Also, most websites would recommend not learning it as your first language. So I pushed it aside and continued to learn more about different types of languages and the positives of each. Eventually the point was reached where I wanted to understand the inside of Linux. That point is now. Recently, I began another attempt to get an understanding of C. Using the information in The C Book it is much easier than it was years ago. The process seems trivial.
